The Maryland Transportation Authority is a member of the E-ZPass Interagency Group and accepts all valid electronic-toll transponders affiliated with the E-ZPass system. E-ZPass is accepted at all toll plazas from Maryland to Illinois and North Carolina to Maine.
If you do not have an E-ZPass and you go underneath the toll gantry, you will be charged via mailed invoice. A photo of your license plate will be recorded and you will be billed.
