Eggs - make sure to use large eggs that are at room temperature.

Broccoli - chop up the broccoli florets into your desired size. The quiche works well with both bigger and smaller pieces of broccoli.

Ground beef - you can also substitute this for other meats or take it out all together. Ham, sausage and bacon are excellent choices for a broccoli cheese quiche.

Sour cream - adds extra moisture to the quiche to give it the perfect tender inner layer.

Parmesan cheese - adds a delicious savory undertone that compliments the broccoli florets. If you're not a fan of Parmesan or don't have any on hand, you can substitute it for a sharp cheddar instead.

Butter - preferably use grass-fed butter that is at room temperature.

Baking powder - works with the eggs and sour cream to create the classic quiche texture we all love.

Seasonings - you'll only need sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
