I filmed a Reel with everything I’m packing in my hospital bag this time around as a second time mom. Even though I feel like I kept thingspretty minimal, the bag got filled quite quickly! I’d rather have something I want/need than wish I had it!
(Here’s what I packed the first time around.)

Tote (XL, regular handles)
FOR MOM:
Camera (here’s the camera I use + some tips for taking better photos of your children)

SOO excited for you!!!!! I’m not usually so genuinely excited for people on the internet but I am for you! You are going to do amazing and this baby boy is so lucky to have you and an amazing big brother! The brotherly bond is so special as you know from having your sister.
Would love to see a breakdown of your every day makeup!
Such practical and useful things!! Thanks for sharing with us!

I remember bringing the baby book so they could put the footprints in? Not sure if this is still a thing.
Consider this as a post idea: pros and cons of having a summer vs. winter baby. There’s obviously no “best time” to have a baby, but curious to know subjectively & objectively what you liked and disliked about having babies during opposite seasons. Best of luck as you reach your due date. xx

@get_nanit’s Pro Camera was one of the very first things I registered for with my first child and I just got a second one ahead of the birth of my second baby. It remains THE most used item from my registry– even two and half years later. It has given my husband and I the most peace of mind throughout every stage of our son’s development! With two way audio, split Screen, sleep reports, and personalized sleep tips we all sleep better.

A cozy, rainy day in the city 🌧️ @samanthavarvel and I went to lunch and it was just the perfect excuse to actually get dressed, put on makeup, blow out my hair, and put on proper shoes 🤭

A picture perfect snow day ❄️ 🛷 ☃️ Snowman pancakes, hot cocoa, grilled cheese, and sledding with friends! Do I think I jinxed the entire town by telling daycare on Friday that “I don’t think it’ll snow!” and then leaving Jack’s snow boots there until tomorrow? Maybe. Students of Madison, you’re welcome. Parents of Madison, I am sorry 🫣

Haven’t had much to share on the feed lately… it’s been a cozy, slow January at home and I wouldn’t want it any other way ❄️🫶🏻🤍

This has been a totally different pregnancy than my first. I’m more confident in some ways, more apprehensive in others. There is power in having done this before and there is also bliss in knowing nothing, too. I am having serious body image insecurities this time around and I also physically feel much, much older. I haven’t been able to be as active as I wish for various health reasons and that has definitely affected my mental health (and I just feel more sedentary and weak, which I don’t love). At the same time I have not had nearly as much time to “rest” with a two year old to chase around! Originally it felt like this pregnancy was flying by faster than my first with all the good toddler distractions and now I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever 😅 One thing that has been getting me through the hard days is knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel- I couldn’t imagine that with my first but I know it now and it’s bringing me a bit of peace. 📸 by @fineandfleurie (thank you for the beautiful photos!!!)
